Please note: If you are a new customer, we can begin sharing your information 30 days from the date we sent this notice. When you are no longer our customer, we continue to share your information as described in this notice.

How does Liberty Career Finance protect my personal information?	To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings. Also, we only allow employees, authorized service providers and other parties as required or permitted by law to access your account.
How does Liberty Career Finance collect my personal information?	We collect your personal information, for example, when you Open an account or give us your contact information Pay your bills or apply for a loan Use your credit card We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus, affiliates, or other companies.
Why can’t I limit all sharing?	Federal law gives you the right to limit only Sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes – information about your creditworthiness Affiliates from using your information to market to you Sharing for non-affiliates to market to you State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.  See below for more on your rights under state law.
Definitions
Affiliates	Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies. Liberty Career Finance’s affiliates include other financial companies, such as financial institutions and loan service companies.
Non-affiliates	Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies. Liberty Career Finance does not share with non-affiliates.
Joint marketing	A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you. Liberty Career Finance does not joint market.
Other important information
For California residents: We will not share information we collect about you with nonaffiliated third parties, except as permitted by law, including, for example, with your consent or to service your account. For Vermont residents: We will not share information we collect about you with non-affiliated third parties except as permitted by law, including, for example, with your consent or to service your account. We will not share information about your creditworthiness with our affiliates, other than as permitted by Vermont law, unless you authorize us to make those disclosures. For Nevada residents: We are providing you this notice pursuant to state law.
